I’m new to IPCop and actually I didn’t use a firewall before.
I wonder if I can add another NIC after the installation.
To be clear, assume that I selected RED+GREEN network configuration during the installtion, then I found that I need DMZ, can I do that? or I have to reinstall IPCop.
Or assume that I want to change the RED NIC, how to update the driver?
Thanks alot
At the risk of a shamless plug for the new forums, I’ve tried to address your question over at the new site:

First of all thanks for the information you provided.
I tried to register in the forum but I faced a problem with the confirmation code. The image didn’t come. I sent an email to ‘info@archatechs.com’ to report this problem, then I received an email from ‘qmail-send program’ at ‘nfly11.registerfly.com’ saying it is unable to deliver my message.
That’s all. Thanks again.
Best regards
Yamen, sorry for the complications with the forums. They should be resolved now.
You can always add one or more NICs later. You’ll just need to run the setup application from the terminal again. You can SSH into the IPcop box and type SETUP. Then follow the screens to Network and Card assignments.
Somehow i missed the point. Probably lost in translation
Anyway … nice blog to visit.
cheers, Tainan.
